The EdgeAI-Trust consortium gathered in Istanbul, Türkiye, for its Month 24 (M24) General Assembly Meeting, hosted by project partner Buyutech. The two-day meeting brought together representatives from across the consortium to review the progress achieved during the second year of the project, assess technical developments, and coordinate activities for the final project phase.

As the project enters its third and final year, the meeting provided an important opportunity to align ongoing work across technical, dissemination, exploitation, and standardization activities while preparing for upcoming milestones and demonstrator validation activities.

Reviewing Two Years of Progress

The M24 General Assembly marked a significant milestone for EdgeAI-Trust, allowing partners to reflect on achievements delivered during the first two years of the project and define priorities for the period ahead.

Throughout the meeting, consortium members presented progress across all Work Packages, highlighting developments in trustworthy AI methodologies, decentralized edge intelligence, explainability, safety and security mechanisms, and demonstrator integration activities. Particular attention was given to the preparation of upcoming validation phases and the continued alignment of technical developments with regulatory and standardization requirements.

The meeting also included discussions on dissemination and communication achievements, exploitation planning, stakeholder engagement activities, and future collaboration opportunities within the European research and innovation ecosystem.

The General Assembly reinforced the strong collaboration among partners and highlighted the multidisciplinary nature of the project, bringing together expertise from industry, academia, and research organizations across Europe.

As EdgeAI-Trust enters its final project phase, the consortium remains focused on transforming research outcomes into tangible impact through demonstrator validation, stakeholder engagement, standardization contributions, and the promotion of trustworthy and explainable Edge AI solutions for safety-critical applications.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality results that support Europe’s vision for secure, trustworthy, and human-centric artificial intelligence technologies.
