The EdgeAI-Trust consortium convened in Munich, Germany, for its General Assembly Meeting marking Month 18 (M18) of the project. Hosted in a hybrid format, the meeting brought together partners from across Europe to assess progress, align work package outcomes, and set the course for the second half of the project.
Project Progress and Road Ahead
The two-day meeting provided an opportunity for in-depth technical presentations, discussion of integration challenges, and coordination around upcoming milestones. With a focus on activities and deliverables carried out between Month 12 (M12) and Month 18 (M18), the consortium evaluated development work across pilots, architecture, safety, and standardization.
Presentations from each Work Package (WP) highlighted key achievements in AI robustness, edge intelligence, trust frameworks, and early implementation progress for demonstrators. The meeting also laid the groundwork for preparing the upcoming M18 Interim Review Meeting with the Chips JU and the European Commission.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EVENT:
- Updates on technical progress across all WPs for the M12–M18 period
- Finalization of deliverables D7.3 and D7.5 on standardization and market insights
- Demonstrator status updates and technical integration progress
- Alignment on data sharing, explainability, and trust-by-design approaches
- Strategy planning for dissemination, stakeholder outreach, and review preparation
